Letter Home

A note I intercepted this morning from Mariah's daughter to her brother Cody,

Dear Cody,

It's odd to be at auntie Joyses howse. Things are very noisy. Do u bemember the big galoots, Zak an Ki-Ann? They aren't so bad when you get to no them. Auntie Joyse careed me down sum stares and I run run run on sum wite rocks with Slicky. Slicky's ok, I don't care what mama says. Y duz she give him the boo boo fase? Y duz Auntie Joyse keep sayn "here Nicki"? I don't no what that means, I thought my name was kitty, kitty.

Last night, we were all sleep'n. The galoots and me when there was a big crash it sounded like---(CRASH!!!!!!) Then all the lites went on and everyone was runnin around fast and bark bark bark so I bark bark bark along with them!!! Slicky really likes to bark, ya know? But then auntie Joyse said everything was okay, she gave me a funny tasting cookie then turned off the lites and we all went back to sleep. So much for a big adventure. I think I like it here.

Nicki (Oh yeah...and p.s. Thers this funny wite stuff fall'n on my haid this mornin, I tryd to ketch it on my tung but it went away) Wuts that all about?
