Great
Save!

I believe that I have mentioned that my little peanut sheltie,
Sammie backs out of cars. Actually she used to just stand on the
back seat with her butt facing towards the door, tail wagging
waiting for me to lift her out and she would give me this ever so
helpful little hop when I would reach in for her. In other words,
she would hop up in the air just when I was reaching for her and I
would sort of scoop her out of the car.
Things
have changed since I got the van. At first she was a little confused
by all the seats and things and she would stand in between the seats
with her butt facing towards the door waiting for me to lift her
out. Well, of course that wasn't working so well, so eventually she
learned to back herself out between the front and middle seat and
then she would wait.....ever so Sammie patiently and then the little
hop-scoop thingie. It makes me smile every time she does it.
Well
now she has become this little locomotive sheltie, backing right out
between the seats and into my arms. Which is great except when my
arms aren't there to scoop. :-( This locomotive thing is picking up
speed and yesterday when I opened the side door, I looked up to see
this sheltie butt (tail wagging) backing right up and about to go
over the edge. I had packages in my arms that I was juggling and a
sheltie butt heading for me!!!!!!!! Needless to say I dropped all my
packages just in time to scoop. GREAT SAVE!
"Sammie
sweetie, you have to slow down.... your old ma can't keep up with
you."
