Candlelit Shelties

Joyce is
pictured above with her first show hopeful, Della.
Since these are house-dogs, I want Shelties that are a joy to
be around. Whether destined to stay here as a show prospect or
to be someone's CDX (Couch Dog Extra-Ordinaire) or next
performance dog, I'm always working towards producing beautiful,
typey Shelties that possess the form and function as described
in our Standard.
I keep my numbers small and have a select breeding program,
producing (on average) one litter a year. I own my own business and
am blessed to be able to bring several dogs to work with me each day
where I have two large fenced and covered areas for them to run. I
start bringing puppies to work at about 4 weeks of age. At first,
mama and babies are kept in an ex-pen in my private office.
Eventually, the puppies are exposed to the normal hustle and bustle
of a busy office. By the time they are 9 weeks old, they are used
to traveling every day and comfortable with the sights and sounds of
a typical industrial area.
I'm always available to "Talk Shelties". If you have any
questions about my dogs, please contact me at:
